Welcome to The Grace of Gratitude
I’m so glad you’re here.
Gratitude has been one of the great transforming forces in my life. It has carried me through challenges, deepened my joy, opened my heart, and taught me to notice the beauty and blessings that are present even on ordinary—and sometimes difficult—days.
Over the years, what began as a personal spiritual practice became something I felt called to share. Through my books, Daily Gratitude Reflections, journals, classes, workshops, and retreats, I hope to inspire others to discover the power of grateful living for themselves.
Gratitude doesn’t mean pretending that everything is wonderful. Life gives all of us joys and sorrows, beginnings and endings, celebrations and challenges. For me, gratitude is a way of meeting all of life with a more open heart. It gently turns my attention toward what is still good, what is still beautiful, and what is here to teach or bless me.
A Practice for the Heart and Soul
A simple gratitude practice can begin right where you are.
Notice something beautiful. Give thanks for someone you love. Write down a few blessings at the end of the day. Pause in the morning and appreciate the gift of another day. The more we practice looking for what is good, the more goodness we begin to notice.
That is why I believe gratitude is our superpower.
My gratitude journals and inspirational books were born from this practice. Some include the beautiful artwork of illustrator Tara Thelen; others bring together my reflections, photography, and the spiritual insights I have gathered along the way.
And gratitude is about more than books. I also love bringing people together through spiritual classes, workshops, and retreats—creating spaces where we can learn, share, laugh, reflect, connect, and grow.
